MICROBOSS Hightech is developing a number of solutions for improvement of artificial insemination process for horse breeding. The main focus is how to increase the fertility rate while keeping other factors like microbiological contamination lower. The other major focus will be how to get maximum of animals with minimum dose of semen so that semen from the best animals can lead to maximum economic benefits. MICROBOSS Hightech is developing a number of high-tech tools to achieve these objects. In case of horse (equine), there are problems of freezing of semen as the quality of frozen semen is not sufficient good quality to give the best conception rate. MICROBOSS is working on developing the methods to improve the quality of frozen semen before administration so that sufficient number of sperms are available to achieve the conception. Even there is also need to improve microenvironment in female reproduction tract to achieve better conception rate. Because of quality problem during freezing, the artificial insemination is done within 3 days after collecting semen while using short term extender but there may be still problems, if weekend comes as it extends the period of storage of diluted semen. Therefore many times, the mares are to be inseminated multiple times to achieve the successful conception. MICROBOSS has developed a number of semen extenders and solutions here to achieve this goal with maximum success. Therefore a number of solutions are developed e.g. semen extenders, detergents etc to improve the quality of semen and removal of seminal fluid and unwanted substances. MICROBOSS is trying to develop methods to get maximum success rate with lowest number of sperms, but such lowest dose sperm solutions need a strong technical knowledge and can be carried from technical persons only.
MICROBOSS Gold SET (Semen Extenders and freezing solution):
MICROBOSS extenders are made of highest quality components. Quality of water used is highest in order to reduce the effects on semen quality. MICROBOSS extenders are sterile products or packed as powder, where the user has to add the given quantity of sterile highest quality water. MICROBOSS extenders are being made marketed under the brand name of MICROBOSS Gold SET. MICROBOSS plans to develop also specific solutions to the clients e.g. 10X or 100X solutions so that one can add water in order to create working solution, which will be best for institutes or companies, which have manpower to do such dilution. If you are planning to use the artificial insemination on wild animals, you may consult us for providing diluents as MICROBOSS is going to develop solutions in this area also. Warning: please do not use the extender of one species to another species for which it is not indicated. Each product will be delivered with quality of certificate, batch number, date of expiry, date of lot number. They are also known as semen diluents.

MICROBOSS Hightech has developed equine semen extenders, which can be used also for freezing of semen. There are different types of solutions available. One semen extender is that user can use its own egg yolk in order to prepare the semen straws to be stored in liquid nitrogen tanks. Similarly egg yolk plasma is available, which is known to have better cryoprotection properties in literature. Phospholipids of non animal origin is available as concentrated solution, which can be added to semen extenders according to the user requirement to improve cryoprotection of semen as there are many studies in literature, which shows that phospholipids are offer better cryoprotection too.
The formulation is from the literature, which is being used for many years; hence it means this solution is more attractive as the efficiency of this solution is well tested in literature.
Important information for MICROBOSS equine Semen extenders for freezing and dilution: Semen extenders are short term storage (ST) solutions and freezing solutions for storing longterm (LT). All products are without antibiotics until mentioned. To the semen extenders and freezing media, user should add egg yolk for maximum protection. They will give results also without egg yolk addition, but it may be lower. They are ready to use form.

MICROBOSS has developed a number of solutions for staining the semen immediately after the collection and during the process of collection and freezing. The stains can be used to provide some quality controls e.g. to differentiate between dead and live sperms. These stains can be applied on sperms of different species. The stained slides can be seen under microscope.
